PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Motor fails to start Overload Protection Device is
disengaged to protect the log splitter
from being damaged:
PCBA overload
Battery overcurrent protection
Push the ON/OFF button then the
reset button. See Figure 8.
Remove the battery, press the
battery level indicator. Wait 60
seconds and then re-insert the
battery.
Won’t split logs Log is improperly positioned.
The log splitter stalls on a log, ram
does not retract fully.
The size or hardness of the log
exceeds the machine’s capacity.
Refer to Operation section for log
loading.
Reset the ram using reset/overload
buttons and try again.
Reduce the log size before splitting.
