SYMBOLS
Some of the following symbols may be used on this tool. Please study them and learn their meaning. Proper interpreta-
tion of these symbols will allow you to operate the tool better and safer.
SYMBOL NAME DESIGNATION/EXPLANATION
Improper Log Type
Only split dry, cylindrically shaped logs that are cut squarely on
each end. Never attempt to split wet logs or logs that are curved
or are cut at angles on either end.
Operator Zone/Correct
Operating Position
Always be positioned in the right rear area as facing the log split-
ter controls.
Incorrect Operating Position Never stand or kneel directly behind the ram when operating.

Before attempting to use this product, familiarize yourself
with all operating features and safety rules.
RESET/OVERLOAD BUTTON
If the motor is overloaded, the machine will shut off. Push
the reset/overload button to restart the machine.
SCABBARD
The scabbard is used to cover the wedge for storage and
transportation. The scabbard has a loop so it can be tethered
to the frame of the log splitter.
NOTE: The loop is not intended to be used for securing or
holding the weight of the log splitter.
SIDE SUPPORTS
Side supports on each side of the work table keep logs
resting securely on the log splitter.
WORK TABLE
Provides surface to support log prior to splitting operation.
