Children are safer in rear seating positions than front.
Never place a child rear-facing in a seating position with an active frontal airbag.
Child restraint must face rear for 5-35 lbs and under one year old.
Never place a child less than one year old forward facing.
Ensure harness height is correct and harness is snug.
Vehicle or LATCH belt must stay tight; review sections for mode changes.
