To properly secure your child in the
car seat, see pages 48-50.
Check your child’s fi t often and
make any needed adjustments to
the car seat as they grow.
Place Child in Car Seat
The child’s bottom and back should be
fl at against the car seat.
Position harness straps over your
child’s shoulders and upper thighs.

Buckle Harness
Push buckle tongues into buckle until
you hear them “click”.
Pull up on harness straps to make sure
buckle is locked.

Fasten Chest Clip
Insert right half of chest clip into left
half and snap together.
