Iftheairbagwarninglampfailstoilluminate,stayson,or
ifthereisdamagetothefrontorsideofthevehicle,or
theairbagcoversshowsignsofdamage,contactanMG
AuthorisedRepairerimmediately.
IMPORTANT
•Theremovalorreplacementofanairbagmodule
shouldbecarriedoutbyanMGAuthorisedRepairer.
•After10yearsfromtheinitialdateofregistration
(orinstallationdateofareplacementairbag),some
componentswillneedtobereplacedbyanMG
AuthorisedRepairer .Theappropriatepageofthe
ServicePortfoliomustbesignedandstampedonce
theworkhasbeencompleted.
ReplacingAribagSystemParts
Eveniftheairbagdoesnotdeploy,collisions
maycausedamagetoSRSinthevehicle.
Airbagsmaynotfunctionproperlyafter
damage,andcannotprotectyouandother
passengerswhenasecondcollisionoccurs,
whichmaycauseseriousinjuryoreven
death.ToensurethatSRScanfunction
properlyaftercollision,pleasegotoanMG
AuthorisedRepairertocheckairbagsand
repairasnecessary.
Airbagsaredesignedforusingonceonly.Oncetheairbag
isdeployed,youmustreplaceSRSparts.Pleasegotoan
MGAuthorisedRepairerforreplacement.
DisposalofAirbags
Whenyourvehicleissold,ensurethatthenewowner
knowsthevehicleisequippedwithairbags,andisaware
ofthereplacementdateofSRS.
Ifthevehicleisscrapped,theundeployedairbagsmayhave
potentialrisks,therefore,beforethedisposal,theymustbe
