Whenheavyorlargeitemsarecarriedonthe
roofluggagerack,thecontrolabilityofthe
carwillchangeduetotheshiftofthecentre
ofgravityaswellastheincreaseofthefrontal
area.Avoidemergencysteering,emergency
accelerationoremergencybrakingwhenthe
carisrunning.
Payattentiontothefollowingsinusingtheroofluggage
rack:
•Fixloadstowardsthefrontoftheroofasfaraspossible,
anddistributetheroofloadevenly.
•DONOTuseautomaticcarwasheswithloadsonthe
roofluggagerack.
•Theoverallheightofthecarisdifferentwhenloadsare
ttedtotheroofluggagerack.Pleaseensurethereis
adequateclearancewhenenteringtunnelsandgarages.
•Ensuretheloadscarriedbytheroofluggagerackdo
notimpedeoperationofthesunroof,roofantennaof
tailgateopening.
•Wheninstallingorremovingapieceofloading
equipment,followtheinstructionsprovidedbythe
manufactureroftheloadingequipment.
MaximumAuthorisedLoadfortheRoof
Themaximumauthorisedloadfortheroofis50kg,and
theroofloadincludestheweightoftheroofloadsandthat
oftheloadingequipmentinstalled.
Besuretoknowabouttheweightofloads,andweighthem
whennecessary.Neverexceedthemaximumauthorised
loadfortheroof.
