AutomaticShutdownofEngine
Althoughtheengineisnotrunningafteran
automaticstop,thevehicleisstilloperating,
thereforethefollowingactionscouldbe
dangerous:
Leavingthevehiclewhiletheseatbeltisstill
buckled,orthereisasubstituteseatbelt
buckleinserted.
Vehicleswithautomatictransmission:The
driverleavesthevehicle,withtheshiftlever
stillinDriveposition(R/D/S).
Stretchthebodyintotheengine
compartment.
Refuelthevehicle.(Eveniftheenginehas
beenshutdown,thekeymustberemovedfor
refueling.)
UndertheconditionthattheStart-Stopintelligentfuel
savingsystemisenabled,theenginewillbeautomatically
shutdownwhendetectingthefollowingoperationsof
driveraswellasthevehiclestatesafterthevehicleis
stopped,andtheStart-Stopfuelsavingsystemindicator
lampontheinstrumentpack
illuminates:
WiththegearinDpositionandthebrakepedalpressed,
itwillautomaticallyshifttoP/Ngearaftertheengine
isautomaticallyshutdown,andthevehicleisstillin
automaticshutdownstatuswhenthebrakepedalis
released.
Thevehiclespeedsignalontheinstrumentshows
normal,andthemaximumvehiclespeedbeforeparking
ismorethan10km/h.
Thereisnosignicantsteeringoperationafterthespeed
islowerthan10km/h.
Closethebonnetandthedriverdoor,wearthedriver
seatbelt.
TheStart-Stopintelligentfuelsavingsystemwillbedisabled
andtheenginewillnotbestoppedautomaticallywhenthe
followingsoccur:
Coolanttemperatureisbelowapresetlimit.
Frontdefrostison.
TheA/Cdeterminesthatthetemperatureinsidethe
vehicledoesnotmeetthetargetvalue.
