ofthecruisesystemwillbesetatthecurrentspeed,
andthecruisesystemwilltakeeffect.Atthistime,
thecruisecontrolsystemwillmaintainthesetspeed
withoutpressingtheacceleratorpedal.
Note:Thesetspeedheldinthecruisecontrolmemory
willbecanceledwheneitherthecruisecontrolleveris
switchedto"OFF"position(7)ortheignitionswitch
turnedoff.
T argetCruiseSpeedAdjustment
Whenthecruisecontrolisactive:
Pushtheleverupwards(1)andhold,thenreleasethelever
switchwhenthedesiredspeedisreached,thiswillincrease
thespeed.
Pushtheleverdownwards(2)andhold,thenreleasethe
leverswitchwhenthedesiredspeedisreached,thiswill
decreasethespeed.
Inaddition,thesetspeedcanbegraduallyincreasedor
decreasedbyturningtheleverandimmediatelyreleasing;
turningupwards(1)willincreasethespeed,whileturning
downwards(2)willdecreasethespeed.T urningthelever
oncewillincreaseordecreasethespeedappr.1km/h.
Whenthecruisecontrolsystemisinoperation,thevehicle
stillcanbeacceleratedbypressingtheacceleratorpedal
(suchasovertaking).Releasingtheacceleratorpedalwill
returnthevehicletothesetcruisespeed.
Pause
Whenthecruisecontrolsystemisactivated,thefollowing
operationswillbringthesystemtoStandbystate:
•Leverswitchmovedto'Cancel'position(3).
•Brakepedalpressed.
•AutogearlevermovedtoP ,RorN.
•Thepoorroadconditionbringsthestabilitycontrol
system(SCS)intooperation.Forsafetyreasons,the
cruisecontrolsystemwillautomaticallyexittoStandby
state.
•Aninclinecausesexcessivedeclineinspeed,thecruise
controlsystemshallautomaticallyexittoStandbystate.
•Electronicparkingbrake(EPB)isoperatedinan
abnormalmanner.
