A "Pause & Serve" feature allows users to temporarily stop the brewing process to pour a cup of coffee before the cycle is complete. The device also incorporates a "Bold Setting" function, which can be activated to brew a stronger cup of coffee, catering to individual taste preferences.
Before initial use, the carafe, filter holder, and permanent filter should be washed in warm soapy water, rinsed, and dried. The main housing should be wiped with a soft damp cloth, but never immersed in water or any other liquid. It is recommended to run the machine with water only for the first brewing cycle to clean it.
To set the clock, the device must be plugged into a 120 Volt AC wall outlet. The "PROG" button is pressed once, and "CLOCK" appears on the display. It is important not to remove the carafe for more than 30 seconds.
Regular cleaning is essential for optimal coffee taste. Before cleaning, the coffee maker must be unplugged and allowed to cool. The reusable filter and filter holder are removed. The filter holder, permanent filter, and carafe can be washed in warm soapy water; abrasive cleansers should never be used.
