Options
Options programming is used to define the most fundamental parameters of the register system.
Options are separated into easily identifiable categories to simplify finding specific options.
1. Select OPTIONS from the Program Mode, OPTIONS menu selections. The list of option categories
is displayed.
2. Choose a category from the list on the left to view the options related to the selected category.
3. Individual option within the categories allows you to select to make the option setting apply Globally to
all station or apply to the Local station only. (Available at v1.0.45 and later.)

USE CLERK INTERRUPT
DO NOT USE: disables the clerk interrupt feature.
CLERK INTERUPT: allows a new clerk to sign on in the middle of a transaction (interrupt the current
order). In this circumstance, the initial transaction is suspended. When the interrupt transaction is
completed, the suspended transaction can be continued when the original clerk signs back on at the same
terminal.
FLOATING CLERK: if selected, the clerk interrupt feature is enabled and the employee is allowed to open
the interrupted order at any terminal in the system.
ALLOW CLERK CHANGE WITHOUT SIGN-OFF
If selected, new clerk sign-on is allowed without previously signing off the current employee; must be set
to YES if clerk interrupt is allowed.
EMPLOYEE SIGN ON
Choose POP UP to automatically sign off at the completion of a transaction. Choose STAY DOWN to
register sales continuously for the same employee.
