If you need a pipe longer than 5 meters:

You must extend the assembly cable.
• You must add refrigerant to the pipes; otherwise, the indoor unit may freeze.
Cutting or extending the pipe
A 5-meter pipe is supplied with the air conditioner (optional).
The length of the pipe can be:
Extended up to : See table page 24
Shortened up to : See table page 24

Make sure that you have the required tools (pipe cutter, reamer, aring tool
and pipe holder).

If you want to shorten the pipe, cut it using a pipe cutter, ensuring that the cut
edge remains at 90° with the side of the pipe (see examples of correctly and
incorrectly cut edges below).

To prevent a gas leak, remove all burrs at the cut edge of the pipe using a
reamer.

Put a are nut slightly into the pipe and modify the are.

Align the pipes to connect them easily.Tighten the are nuts rst with your
hands, and then with a torque wrench, applying the following torque:
