Switch to the silent prole
In Idle mode, press and hold [ ] to mute or unmute your
phone.

Set up a sound prole
You can change your phone's sounds by customising
the current sound prole or switching to another sound
prole. To set up a prole,
In Menu mode, select

Settings

Sound proles.
Scroll to the prole you are using.

Edit>.
Customise the sound options for incoming calls,

incoming messages, and other phone sounds. ► p. 85
Available sound options vary depending on the
selected prole.
To switch to another prole, select it from the list.

Select a language you want.

Set the time and date format, and enter the current

Adjust the volume of the key tones
In Idle mode, press the Volume key to adjust the key tone
volume.
