What to do if Samsung MR7491G Microwave Oven timer starts but no heat?
    • D
      Donald AndersonAug 19, 2025
If your Samsung Microwave Oven timer starts counting down, but there's no microwave oscillation (no heat, but the oven lamp and fan motor turn on), it could be due to several reasons: * Misalignment of latch switches. * Open or loose connection of the high voltage circuit, especially the magnetron filament circuit. * Defective high voltage components such as the H.V.Transformer, H.V.Capacitor, H.V.Diode, or Magnetron. * Open or loose wiring of the power relay. * Defective primary latch switch. * Defective power relay or Ass'y PCB. Adjust the door and latch switches. Check the high voltage components according to the component test procedure and replace them if defective. You may also need to replace the PCB main.

Why Samsung Microwave Oven does not accept key input?
    • R
      Ricky LopezAug 21, 2025
If your Samsung Microwave Oven does not accept key input (program), it could be due to: * Key input is not in sequence. * Open or loose connection of the membrane key pad to Ass'y PCB. * Shorted or open membrane panel. * Defective Ass'y PCB. Refer to the operation procedure. Replace the PCB main.

How to fix uneven cooking in Samsung MR7491G Microwave Oven?
    • S
      Susan GarciaSep 1, 2025
If your Samsung Microwave Oven cooks food unevenly, it's due to the uneven intensity of the microwaves. Wrap thinner parts of the food with aluminum foil. Use plastic wrap or cover with a lid. Stir once or twice while cooking foods such as soup, cocoa, or milk.

    Mallory FlowersSep 3, 2025
Why does Samsung MR7491G Microwave Oven take longer to cook?
    • M
      Mario HudsonSep 4, 2025
If your Samsung Microwave Oven has low microwave output, causing it to take longer to cook food, it could be due to: 1. A decrease in power source voltage. 2. An open or loose wiring of the magnetron filament circuit (intermittent oscillation). 3. Aging of the magnetron. Consult an electrician to check the power source voltage.
