This automatically corrects the loss of bright detail that
can occur due to the differences in the shading of the
picture.

In Shooting mode, press [MENU].

Select Shooting 3 (

) → Smart Range
→ an option.
• When the smart range is set, the ISO 100 option
can not be used.
• The Smart range function is not available in
some shooting modes, and it may automatically
operate while using the

options.
• The function can be set directly by pressing [Fn]
in the shooting mode.
