Charging the battery and turning your camera on
Charging using the power adapter
Insert the USB extension cable into the built-in USB plug of the
camera. And put the other end of the cable in the power adapter,
and then plug it into an outlet.
It is recommended that you use a power adapter, which is an optional
component, depending on the USB connection environment.
Turning on your camera
Press [POWER] to turn your camera on or off.
Turning on your camera in Playback mode
Press [ ]. The camera turns on and accesses Playback mode
immediately.
When you turn on your camera by pressing and holding [ ] for about
5 seconds, the camera does not emit any camera sounds.
