VIDEO LIGHT works in CAMERA or M.REC modeonly.
To brighten the scene when natural lighting istoo dim.
VIDEO LIGHT works in SP mode only.
- If you turn on the LIGHT in LP mode, the LIGHT indicator and "LP" will be blinking on the LCD.
• The VIDEO LIGHT can become extremely hot.
Do not touch it either while in operation or soon after turning it off, otherwise serious injury may result.
• Do not place the camcorder intothe carrying case immediately after using the VIDEO LIGHT,since it can remain
extremely hot for some time.
• Do not use near flammable or explosive materials.
• It is recommended that you consult your nearest SAMSUNG dealer for bulb replacement.
- The life of the bulb is approximately 50 hours.
1. Set the camcorder to the CAMERA mode.
2. Press theV.LIGHT button.
• The VIDEO LIGHT indicator appears on the LCD and the light is turned on.
3. If youwant to turn off the VIDEO LIGHT,press the V.LIGHT button again.
• The light isturned off automaticallyduring ejectingor inserting.
• Even if the battery indicator does not blink when the battery packscharge is low, the camcorder mayturn off automatically
when you turn on the light, or when you start recording with lightturned on.
• The built-in light is used as a subsidiary light, it may not be enoughfor outdoor lighting.
• The picture quality may deteriorate if you use the VIDEO LIGHT continuously for more than 20 minutes.
• If youturn on the light in 1/8, 1/15, 1/30SLOW SHUTTER mode, the SLOW SHUTTER mode will be switched off.
