• IEEE1394 add-on card or built in IEEE1394 card
1. Set the powerswitch to PLAYERmode.
2. Connectthe DV cable (not supplied) from the DV IN/OUTport of
the camcorder to the DV IN/OUT port of the other DVdevice.
• Make sure that DV iN appears on the screen.
3. Press the START/STOPbutton to begin REC PAUSEmode.
• PAUSEis displayed on the OSE_
4. Start playbackon the other DVdevice while you monitorthe picture.
5. Press the START/STOPbutton to start recording.
• If you want to pause recording momentarily, press the START/STOPbutton again.
6. To stop recording, press the • (STOP) button.
When using this camcorder as a recorder,the picturesthat appearon a monitor mayseem uneven,
howeverrecorded pictures will not be affected,
