Before contacting a Samsung authorized service center, perform the followingsimple checks,

s}ow the battery pack is almost discharged Change to a charged one
TAPEEND! s_ow When the remaining time on the tape

TAPEEND! no the tape reached Etsend Change to a new one
TAPE! s_ew there is no tape in camcorder Insert a tape

the camcorder
_, If the camcorder is broughtdirectly from a cold place to a warm place, moisture may condense inside the camcorder,
on the surface of the tape, or on the lens. Inthis condition, the tape may stickto the head drum and bedamaged or the
unit may not operate correctly.
To preventpossible damage under these circumstances, the camcorder isfitted with a moisture sensor.
_, If there is moisture insidethe camcorder, r_7 (DEW) is displayed. If this happens, none ofthe functions except cassette
ejection will work.
Open the cassette compartment and removethe battery.
Leavethe camcorder for at leasttwo hours in a dry warm room.
