      If recording does not work on your Samsung Security System, and your player does not display a Live image at all, first check if you see an image on the screen. Recording also won't work if the recording settings are not properly configured. To start manual recording, press the [REC] button on the remote control. To schedule a recording, specify a desired time in Menu – Record – Recording Schedule. - Record: Recording will proceed in any conditions at the specified time. - Record: When an event occurs, recording will perform only if the event is of alarm, motion detection, video loss and Tampering Detection.       If the DVR does not recognize all installed disks when you have connected multiple external HDDs to the Samsung Security System, it may take time for the DVR to recognize them. Try again in a moment. If the problem persists, it may be due to a mechanical error of the HDD installed. Try again with a different HDD.
