Switching Off the Microphone (Mute)
You can temporarily switch your phone’s
microphone off so that the other person on the
phone cannot hear you.
Example
: You wish to say something to a person in
the room, but do not want the person on
the phone to hear you.
To switch off the microphone temporarily:
1. Press the
Options
soft key.
2. Press the Down key to highlight the
Mute
option.
3. Press the
Ok
soft key or the Centre key.
The other person can no longer hear you.
To switch back off the microphone:
1. Press the
Options
soft key.
2. If necessary, press the Down key to highlight the
Unmute
option.
3. Press the
Ok
soft key or the Centre key.
The other person can hear you again.
