When the proxy is set to

: enter the secondary address.
Dial number
: enter the PPP server phone number.
Login ID
: enter the user ID.
Password
: enter the password.
Data call type
: select a data call type.
Current profile

Use this menu to select a connection profile for
accessing the WAP browser.
Messages
(Menu 5)
Use the
Messages
menu to send and receive text
messages, multimedia messages, and e-mails. You
can also use WAP push message and cell broadcast
message features.
To access this menu, press <
Menu
> in Idle mode and
select
Messages
.
Create new message
(Menu 5.1)
Use this menu to create and send SMS, MMS, or
e-mail messages.
Text message
(Menu 5.1.1)
Short Message Service (SMS) allows you to send or
receive text messages that may include pictures,
animated images, and melodies.
1. Enter your message.
2. Press <
Options
> to access one of the following
options:
Insert
: add a template, Phonebook entry, or
bookmark.
Add picture
/
Add animation
/
Add melody
:
add a picture, animated image, or melody to
the message.
Attach
: attach a name card or calender memo.
The maximum number of characters allowed in a text
message varies by your service provider. If your
message exceeds the maximum number of characters,
the phone will split the message.
