• Send : send the template as an MMS message.
• Edit : edit the template.
• New : add a new template.
• Delete : delete the selected template or all
templates.
Delete all (Menu 5.4)
Use this menu to delete all of the messages in each
message folder one by at once.
1. Press [ ] to check the message box(es) you
want.
2. Press < Delete >.
3. Press < Yes > to confirm the election.
Settings (Menu 5.5)
Use this menu to set up various options for using the
messaging service.
Text message (Menu 5.5.1)
You can configure the SMS settings.
• Send settings : set up the following options:
Reply path : allow the recipient to reply to you
through your message centre.
Delivery report : set the network to inform you
when your message has been delivered.
Character support : select a character encoding
type. If you select Auto , the phone switches the
encoding type from GSM-alphabet to Unicode if
you enter a Unicode character. Use of Unicode
encoding will reduce the maximum number of
characters in a message to about half.
If this menu is not shown, your phone provides the
Auto character encoding by default.
Bearer : select a bearer type.
Validity period : set the length of time your
messages are stored in the SMS centre.
Message type : set the default message type.
Service centre : store or change the number of
your message centre.
• Block number : specify phone numbers from
which messages will not be accepted.
