UHD Evolution Kit Backup

Upgrade your Samsung TV with the 2015 Evolution Kit for more benefits. However, this upgrade
requires backing up and converting existing data in your TV and apps accordingly to ensure they
remain on the upgraded device.
1.
Connect a USB storage device to the TV.
2.
In the System menu, select UHD Evolution Kit Backup. The UHD Evolution Kit Backup screen
appears.
3.
Select Start. Data in the TV will be backed up to the USB storage.

Do not turn the TV off or unplug the power cable of the TV during this backup.
"
Do not disconnect the USB storage device during this backup.
4.
When complete, select Done.
Update Recorded Programme
System > Update Recorded Programmes
To watch a previously recorded programme on Samsung TV with the 2015 Evolution kit, it is necessary
to convert the recorded programme saved on a USB Drive to the Samsung TV format with the 2015
Evolution kit.
1.
Connect the recording USB device to the USB HDD 5V 1A port.
2.
In the System menu, select Update Recorded Programmes. The Update Recorded Programmes
screen appears.
3.
Select Start. Start conversion so material is properly displayed on the TV.

4.
When complete, select Done.
