3. Route the drain hose to the drain system.
CAUTION
• If using a standpipe, make sure the standpipe and
drain hose connection is not airtight.
• If using a standpipe, make sure the drain hose is
inserted at least 6 in. (152 mm) but no more than 8 in.
(203 mm) into the standpipe.
4. Secure the drain hose with cable ties.
STEP 4 Level the washer
1. Slide the washer into position.
2. Open the lid of the washer, and then pour water into
the tub until the blades of the pulsator on the bottom
of the washer are about half covered.
3. If the washer is level, the pulsator (A) will be
positioned at the center of the tub as shown in the
figure and the water will appear level in the tub. That
is, the water will reach the same height on all sides
of the tub.
