Operating

procedures

1.

Depress

the

POWER

switch

and

turn

on

the

power.

-

Depress

the

EQUALIZER

“ON”

switch.

When

listening

to

a

disk

or

broadcast,

select

the

source

with

the

amplifier’s

function

selector

and

operate

the

turntable

or

tuner.

De-

press

the

TAPE

MONITOR

“SOURCE”

switch

and

the

TAPE

COPY

“SOURCE”

switch.

When

listening

to

a

tape,

depress

the

TAPE

MONITOR

‘‘TAPE-1”

or

“TAPE-2"

switch

in

accordance

with

the

connections

of

the

tape

deck

being

used.

4.

Set the

amplifier’s

tape

monitor

switch

to

the

‘‘tape’’

position.

Rotate

the

OUTPUT

LEVEL

controls

to

the

right

so

as

to

minimize

the

volume

difference

during

the

switchover.

5.

Adjust

the

sound

volume

with

the

volume

control

on

the

amplifier.

6.

Use

the

equalizer

controls

to

adjust

the

sound

quality

of

the

repro-

duced

source

to

your

preference.

*

If

the

EQUALIZER

“DEFEAT”

switch

is

depressed,

you

will

be

able

to

hear

the

sound

before

compensation.
