Why is my Santa Fe ADVANCE not removing enough water?

  If your Santa Fe Dehumidifier isn't removing as much water as you'd expect, here are a few things to check: * See if the air temperature and/or humidity have dropped. * Calibrate the humidity meter and/or thermometer. * Determine whether the unit has entered a defrost cycle. * Clean or replace dirty air filters, or improve airflow. * Inspect and replace the defective defrost thermostat. * Ensure there is a proper refrigerant charge. * Check for air leaks, such as a loose cover or ducting leaks. * Inspect and replace the defective compressor. * Check for restrictive ducting.
