STRINGING DIAL ROPE
1. Preparation
Tie rope to a spring coil (68). The rope should be 667mm in Jength
when folded into two parts as shown below.
2. Stringing procedure
Put the rope round the drum in the direction marked by the arrow (1),
stretch it as indicated by the arrow (2), pass it along (3)-(4)-(5)>
(6)—>(7)-+(8)(9), wind it around the tuning shaft three times at (10),
and run italong (11)~(12)-(13).

3. Adjustment of dial pointer position.
Turn the tuning shaft counterclockwise until the dial rope slips on
it. Set the pointer to the graduation at the extreme ieft on the FM
scale and fix the pointer on the rope.
