LISTENING TO THE RADIO

1. Set the FUNCTION switch to RADIO.
“TUNE appears on the display.

2. Select AM or FM.
3. Tune in a desired station by turning the TUNING
control.

The unit will automatically switch to stereo when an FM
stereo broadcast is received.
4. Adjust the VOLUME control as desired.

5. Select the BASS XPANDER and TONE settings as

Aerial
AM reception:
The built-in AM aerial is directional. For weak AM
broadcasts, rotate the unit until the best possible re-
ception is obtained.

FM reception:
Pull out the telescopic FM aerial. Adjust its position to
obtain the best reception possible.

To receive AM broadcasts.
