7. ECO mode (Energy-saving mode)
(1) Compressor alternate run
Compressor A will cycle run alternately with Compressor B, when it is possible to maintain cycle
operation with a single compressor.
Purpose: To extend ON/OFF cycle duration for 1 unit.
a) When unit reaches set temp +0.4㷄, Compressor A turns on.
b) When unit reaches set temp -0.4㷄, Compressor A turns off.
c) When unit reaches set temp +1.0㷄, Compressor B turns on.
d) When unit reaches set temp -0.9㷄, compressor B turns off.
e) When unit reaches set temp +3.0㷄, unit switches from Compressor alternate run to
Compressor overlapping run.
f) When unit reaches to set temp -1.5㷄, unit switches from Compressor overlapping run to Compressor
alternating run.
Operation sequence of Compressor alternate run
㽲 Compressor A turns on when unit reaches set temp +0.4㷄 (Point 㽲 in the picture below)
Compressor B does not turn on.
㽳 Compressor A turns off when unit reaches set temp -0.4㷄 within 90 minutes of compressor A turning
on. Both compressor A and B turn off.
㽴 Compressor B turns on when unit reaches set temp +1.0㷄 (Point 㽴 in the picture below)
Compressor A does not turn on.
㽵 Compressor B turns off when unit reaches set temp -0.9㷄 within 90 minutes of compressor B turning
on. Both compressor A and B turn off. (Point 㽵 in the picture below)
