WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS
Open door slowly at the end of a liquid sterilization cycle. Do
not allow hot bottles to be jolted. Failure to follow these pre-
caution could result in bottle explosions! Do not move bot-
tles, if any boiling or bubbling is present.
,35 Stand away from the sterilizer, when opening the door, the
hot air and steam that escape can cause burns to hands,
face and eyes.
,36 Wear protective gloves and apron when removing a
processed load. Protective gloves and apron should also be
worn when reloading sterilizer following previous operation.
y37 Allow bottles to cool to touch before attempting to move them
from the stainless baskets to the storage area.
y38 |f the unit is used continuously, allow five minutes between
cycles for cooling-off. If a new sterilization cycle is begin
immediately after the previous one has finished, the unit may
not be able to generate sufficient saturated steam. After the
"finished" buzzer has sounded, remove 5 minutes to cool-off
the sterilized items and leave the door opening for five
minutes or more to allow the unit to cool off before starting
the next sterilizing cycle.
Ty39 Be careful not to scratch yourself on the unit's protrusions to
avoid personnel injury.
CAUTION :

1 Never use a wire brush, steel wool, abrasive material or
chloride-containing products to clean door and chamber
assembly.
.2 Bottles and tubes should contain media no more than 1/2 the
^ total volume of the container.
,3 Do not inflict the strong impact on the door to avoid the
deforming of the door.
