install

operating

unit,

SELECTION
OF
LOCATION

Select a
well-ventilated
place
that is not
exposed
to
direct
sunlight.
Avoid humid or
dusty
locations.

The
unit should
not
be
placed
near
electric appliances
that may
cause.
interference,
such as
motors,
strong
magnets
etc. Locations
near
electric
heating
systems
should also be avoided.
CONNECTION
TO A RECEIVER
OR
PRE-AMPLIFIER
CONNECTING
FOR PLAYBACK
1.
Turn off
the receiver
or
pre-amplifier.
2.
Find the TAPE INPUT
jacks
on
your
receiver or
pre-
amplifier
marked TAPE PLAY,
PLAYBACK, LINE lN, TAPE
MONITOR, TAPE, AUX, or the
like.
3.
Using
the shielded
audio
cables supplied,
connect the
LEFT LINE OUT
jack
to
the receiver or
pre-amplifier
LEFT TAPE INPUT
jack.
4.
Connect
the RIGHT LINE OUT
jack
to the receiver or
pre-
amplifier
RIGHT TAPE INPUT
jack.
CONNECTING FOR
RECORDING
1.
Find
the RECORD
OUTPUT
jacks
marked
TAPE REC,
REC
OUT, LINE
OUT,
TAPE
OUT, or the like.
2.
Using the
shielded audio cables
supplied, connect the
LEFT LINE lN
jack
to the receiver or
pre-amplifier
LEFT
RECORD
OUTPUT
jack.
3.
Connect
the
RIGHT LINE lN
jack
to the receiver
or
pre-
amplifier RIGHT RECORD
OUTPUT
jack.
4.
After
completing all connections,
connect the
power
cord
of
the
unit
to
an AC outlet.
