Why can't my Sceptre HDTV receive enough channels through the ATSC/NTSC tuner?
    • D
      Dr. Ernest MorrowAug 26, 2025
If your Sceptre HDTV isn't receiving enough channels, it might be due to a weak tuner signal (less than 65%). Try changing the direction of your antenna and rescanning for channels. If you have cable, contact your cable company to inquire about the signal strength of your local cable.

    • M

Noise or trash pixels on the screen of your Sceptre HDTV can occur when your display's resolution is higher than the digital channel's broadcast resolution, causing the signal to be up-converted. This up-conversion process can lead to such effects.

Why does switching a channel or source change the volume on my Sceptre E205BD-SMQC HDTV?
    • J
      Jennifer PageSep 5, 2025
Switching channels or sources can change the volume on your Sceptre HDTV because different channels and inputs may have varying signal volumes. To combat this, ensure that the AUTO VOLUME LEVEL function is turned on.

How to make picture cover the entire screen on Sceptre E205BD-SMQC?
    • A
      Amber HernandezSep 2, 2025
If the picture on your Sceptre HDTV doesn't cover the entire screen, and you're using HDMI or a digital channel, use the ASPECT button to switch to the 16:9 format. If you're using VGA, use the AUTO ADJUST function to adjust the screen. Note that using ASPECT with regular analog display, AV, or component in 480i resolution may distort the picture.
