Explanation of the symbols on the device
Symbols are used in this manual to draw your attention to potential hazards. The safety symbols and the accompanying
explanations must be fully understood. The warnings themselves will not rectify a hazard and cannot replace proper ac-
cident prevention measures.
Read the operating and safety instructions before start-up and follow them.
Wear eye protection.
Wear hearing protection.
Wear safety shoes.
Protection and safety devices must not be removed and no unauthorised changes made
to them.
Do not touch any hot exhaust silencers, gear wheel housing or cylinders.
No smoking or naked ames.
Keep your distance from rotating feed screws.
Keep your hands away from entry and ejection openings when the machine is running.
Never point the discharge directly at persons or objects.
When carrying out repairs or adjustments, stop the engine, remove the spark plug
connector and read the instructions.
The cleaning tool may only be used to rectify blockages. Never use your hands.
Bystanders must keep their distance.
Before leaving the operating position, the engine must be shut down and the ignition key
removed.
