INTRODUCTION
ABOUT GIULIA
A Classic Amplier with a Deluxe Soul!
GIULIA is the latest addition to Schertlers range of high quality acoustic ampliers. The single-channel 50W
ultra-compact amplier is a smaller sibling of the 3-channel UNICO and 2-channel DAVID, oering musicians
a highly portable option that doesn't compromise on either build or sound quality.
Schertler has been active in the eld of amplier development since the launch of its Classic Series in 2003.
Used by musicians worldwide, Schertler amps are renowned for their natural sound quality, exible
input/output options, robust construction, intuitive control surfaces and their suitability for use with all kinds
of acoustic instruments and musical genres. Compatible with all currently available microphones and
transducers, GIULIA is also a perfect partner for Schertlers DYN and STAT series of contact microphones and
the BASIK pickup
GIULIA has been specially designed to provide the musician or sound engineer with a high quality compact
amplier that meets a range of live performance and recording requirements. Equipped with a 1” dome
tweeter and 5” woofer, and weighing just 6.3kg, the amp features a single input channel with 3-band EQ and
digital reverb. Two output options enable connection to a range of mixers, loudspeakers and other devices.
Every section has been carefully engineered to guard against any possible problems that might originate
from dierent sound sources.
• GIULIAs single, exible input channel accommodates both XLR and 6.33mm Jack connectors, enabling the
connection of almost any kind of microphone. 48V and 10V phantom power is provided. The input can also
be used with line level / high impedance sources such as a guitar, keyboard or CD player. The ampliers
intelligent electronics will automatically adapt to suit the sound source - you don’t need to do anything!
The DI output enables the amplier to be directly connected to a mixer. The Line Out enables the connec-
tion of another active loudspeaker, for example a subwoofer such as Schertlers BASS to give increased bass
response.
The Insert enables connection of an external device such as a compressor, or other control unit. For easier
volume control during live performance for example, you can connect Schertlers Volume Pedal.
On the following page you will nd a more detailed overview of the ampliers front panel.
