The battery’s initial voltage is below 12.2V and the total input is less than 1.5 Ah, the battery may be overheated, allow the battery to cool. The battery may be too large or have a short circuit, have battery checked or replaced. The battery capacity is too low, or the battery is too old, have it checked or replaced. The battery won’t hold a charge, make sure there are no loads on the battery, if there are remove them. If there are none, have the battery checked or replaced.

  If your Schumacher Electric Remote Starter isn't powering your 12V device, there are a few potential reasons: the 12V device might not be turned on, so ensure it is; the jump starter's battery could be low, so check the charge status using the display button; or the 12V device may be drawing more than 15A or has a short circuit, in this case, disconnect the 12V device and allow the internal breaker to reset automatically after a couple of minutes before trying again.

  If the red Bad Battery LED is lit and the yellow/orange Charging Status LED is flashing rapidly, it could mean: the battery voltage is still below 10V after 2 hours of charging, make sure there are no loads on the battery, if there are, remove them; in maintain mode, the output current is more than 1.5A for 12 hours, have the battery checked or replaced; or desulfation was unsuccessful, have battery checked or replaced.
