Why won't my Schumacher Electric SP1 turn on?

If your Schumacher Electric Battery Charger won't turn on despite being properly connected, first, check the AC outlet for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker. Then, ensure the power cord and any extension cords have a secure connection. Also, make sure the connections to the battery are not reversed by unplugging the charger and reversing the clips. If the battery voltage is too low (under 0.2 volts), the charger's automatic start feature won't activate. Finally, the battery may be defective and needs to be checked or replaced.
