  If your Schumacher Remote Starter won’t jump start your car, there might be several reasons: * The clamps may not be making good contact. Ensure they are clean and properly connected to both the battery and the frame. * The connections might be reversed. If so, disconnect the jump starter and reverse the clamps. * The jump starter's battery may not be charged. Press the Battery Status button to check the charge level. * The vehicle’s battery could be defective; have it checked. * The jump starter might not be turned on; ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the ON position.

The 12V device may draw more than 20A, have a short circuit, or the internal fuse may have blown. If this is the case, disconnect the 12V device. A qualified service person needs to replace the internal 20A fuse.
