Why won't my Schumacher SC1402 Battery Charger turn on even when it's properly connected?

If your Schumacher Battery Charger isn't turning on, there could be a few reasons. First, check the AC outlet for an open fuse or circuit breaker. Second, inspect the power cord and any extension cords for loose connections. Finally, the battery itself might be defective, so it's advisable to have it checked.

What to do if the engine start doesn't work on my Schumacher SC1402?
    • K

If the engine start function isn't working, it could be due to several reasons. You might be drawing more than 150 amps, in which case the crank time will be less than 5 seconds. Ensure you wait 3 minutes between crank attempts, especially if the Engine Start LED is blinking. Overheating can also be a factor, so ensure the charger vents are not blocked. For a severely discharged battery, try using the 20A Boost rate for 10 to 15 minutes before attempting to crank the engine.
