6. Installation
Adding Carbon Filters (optional)
If you are using the appliance in the recirculation mode, a carbon lter must be tted.
• Detach the grease lter rst.
• Press the lock and pull it downward.
• Plug the activated carbon lter into the unit and turn it in a clockwise direction.
• Repeat the same on the other side.
• Please ensure that the lter is securely locked, otherwise it can come loose and become a hazard.
• When the carbon lter is attached, the suction power may be lower.
• Please replace the carbon lter every 4 to 6 months; depending on cooking frequency & method,
you may need to replace the lter more or less frequently.
