  If your Schweigen Ventilation Hood isn't working, begin by ensuring it's properly connected to a power source. Verify that the electric network's voltage is between 220-240V, the hood is connected to a grounded plug, and the unit is switched on. Also, check the motor switch to confirm the rangehood is receiving power and is turned on. Lastly, ensure the lamp switch is in the 'on' position and the outlet is open.

  If your Schweigen Ventilation Hood's air suction is weak, start by checking for obstructions in the ducting or back draft fins. Make sure there is no obstruction in ducting or back draft fins. Regularly wash the metal filter. Also, ensure the outlet is open, not blocked, and that you have the correct diameter ducting installed. Finally, consult the Isodrive installation manual to confirm the flexible ducting is installed correctly, paying attention to the length of ducting used and ensuring it remains taut.
