Why does my Schwinn Airdyne AD2 console shut off during use?

  If your Schwinn Exercise Bike console shuts off during use, ensure that all wires in the cable are intact; replace the cable if any are cut or crimped. Also, be sure the cable is securely connected and oriented properly, making sure the small latch on the connector lines up and snaps into place. Finally, check that the magnet is in place on the pulley.

What to do if my Schwinn Airdyne AD2 has no speed/RPM reading?

  If you are not getting a speed or RPM reading on your Schwinn Exercise Bike, check that all wires in the cable are intact and replace the cable if any are cut or crimped. Ensure the cable is securely connected and properly oriented, making sure the small latch on the connector lines up and snaps into place. Also, verify that the magnet is in place on the pulley.

  If the speed displayed on your Schwinn Exercise Bike is inaccurate, the display units may be set incorrectly. Change the display units to the correct setting (English or Metric).

  If the speed displayed on your Schwinn Exercise Bike is always “0” or stuck in Pause mode, ensure that the data cable is connected to the back of the console and the main frame assembly.
