Schwinn AirDyne AD6: Noises from the arm pivot and
handlebar/footpeg connection
Follow this troubleshooting guide to help resolve noise issues on the Schwinn AirDyne AD6.

Follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue
Tools you may need:
Phillips head screwdriver
4mm, 6mmhex/Allen wrenches, or the wrench from the
hardware card included with your machine
14mm socket wrench
1. Refer to the "Replace the Arm Pivot Assembly" section of the service manual for instructions on accessing the
connection. Follow the steps outlined in the procedure until you reach the step to disconnect the handlebar from the
arm pivot assembly.
2. Use a 6mm Allen wrench to tighten the two screws on the handlebar (reference 1). Tighten them as much as you can
without stripping the screws. Test to see if the noise persists[13788.A].
