BASIC OPERATION
ON/ Standby mode
After connecting the power supply (refer to POWER SUPPLY), the unit is in standby mode and the clock time is
displayed. Press the button to turn on the unit and press it again to go to standby mode.
Clock and Alarm time setting
1. Press the button and the hour digits will ash.
2. Press the TUNE/SET +/- button to set the hours.
3. Press the button to conrm the setting and the minute digits will ash.
4. Press the TUNE/SET +/- button to set the minutes.
5. Press the button again to conrm the clock time setting. You will automatically
go into alarm time setting mode. The hour digits will ash.
6. Repeat steps 2 to 4 above to set the alarm time.
Alarm operation
This unit allows you to wake up by buzzer or radio.
1. To adjust the alarm time, follow the steps in “Clock and Alarm time setting”.
2. To select the buzzer ( ) or radio ( ) mode, press the ALARM MODE button. The corresponding
alarm mode indicator will light up on the LCD display.
3. When the preset alarm time is reached, the alarm will sound in the selected alarm mode.
4. To stop the alarm, press the button. The alarm will sound again at the same time the next day. To
disable the alarm function, press the ALARM MODE button repeatedly until the alarm mode indicators
disappear.
Note: While the buzzer alarm volume is xed and cannot be adjusted, the radio alarm volume can be adjusted to
your desired level using the VOL +/- buttons. To select the station, refer to “RADIO OPERATION”.
Snooze function
When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button to stop the alarm temporarily. The
“ ” and “ ” indicator will ash and the alarm will sound again after 9 minutes.
To cancel the SNOOZE function and repeat the alarm the next day, press the button.
Sleep function
This function allows you to programme the unit so that the radio switches off automatically after a certain
duration (up to 90 minutes).
