This instruction sheet describes the operation and maintenance for the SCOTT RIT-PAK III portable
air supply. Read and understand this entire instruction sheet before attempting the use of the SCOTT
RIT-PAK III portable air supply.

IMPROPER USE INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, USE WITHOUT ADEQUATE TRAINING, DISREGARD OF
THE WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINED HEREIN, AND FAILURE TO INSPECT AND MAINTAIN THE AIR
SUPPLY OR RESPIRATOR SUPPLIED BY IT.
THIS AIR SUPPLY IS INTENDED TO BE USED ONLY IN CONJUNCTION WITH AN ORGANIZED RESPIRATORY
PROTECTION PROGRAM WHICH COMPLIES WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED
STANDARD SUCH AS OSHA SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 29 CFR 1910 PARAGRAPH 134 AVAILABLE FROM
THE US DEPT. OF LABOR, OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION.
