> risk analysis and elimination
The risks arising from a sliding gate with 2 leaves and the solutions adopted to eliminate them are indicated
in the  gure below:
At the leading edge: Risk of being hit or crushed between the leading edge and the pillar during
closing.
Solution: Current detector, photoelectric cells, sensing bars.
The motor is equipped with a current detection system which allows the motor to stop. Installing
photoelectric cells allows the detection of a person or vehicle during closing.
A sensor bar will instantly stop the gate when activated.

At the trailing edge: Risk of being hit, crushed or trapped.
Solution: Photoelectric cells, maintaining a secure zone, preventing access (wire mesh etc.)
Depending on the type of installation there may also be a risk of being crushed in the area behind
the retreating gate. Eliminate this risk by enclosing the area with wire mesh (link size 20mm x 20mm
maximum) or by installing photoelectric cells.
