Note: For safety purposes, the drive stops charging after four hours.
Your Seagate Wireless Plus device also charges when it is connected to a computer, but at a
slower rate.
The lithium-ion battery inside your Seagate Wireless Plus device is not user-replaceable. The
lifespan of rechargeable batteries can be affected by the number of charge cycles. For
information about recycling and proper disposal of the battery, see
Seagate’s removal and
recycle article.
Resetting Your Device to Its Factory Settings
For a variety of reasons, you may need to reset your Seagate Wireless Plus back to its
original factory settings. To do this, press and release the button located on the bottom of
your device. No data is lost during this process.
