World Timer
World Timer or GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) watches simultaneously provide the local
time in all of the world’s time zones, using a 24 hour scale on the watch dial. A rotating
bezel indicates the names of 24 cities around the world, one representing each time zone.
To determine the local time across all time zones, simply rotate the bezel until the local time
in a particular city is accurately aligned on the 24 hour dial scale to the city name on the
bezel. For example, if the local time in New York is 12:00, rotate the bezel until New York is
aligned with the number 12 on the 24 hour dial scale. Now the local time in any city on the
bezel can easily read on the 24 hour scale: local time is 9:00 in Los Angeles, 18:00 in Paris
and 2:00 in the morning, the following day in Tokyo.
