Why Sears Snow Blower does not start?
- SSara DodsonJul 29, 2025
Your Sears Snow Blower might not be starting due to several reasons: the fuel shut-off valve may be in the OFF position (turn it to OPEN); the safety ignition key might not be inserted (insert it); it could be out of fuel (refill with fresh gasoline); the throttle may be in the STOP position (move it to FAST); the choke may be in the OFF position (move it to FULL); the primer might not be depressed (prime as instructed); the engine could be flooded (wait a few minutes before restarting, and do not prime); the spark plug wire could be disconnected (connect it); the spark plug might be bad (replace it); or the fuel could be stale or contain water (empty the fuel tank and carburetor, then refill with fresh gasoline).
