Replacing a blown fuse

Preparation
Switch off the ignition, lights and all elec-
tric
al
equipment
.
Open the corresponding fuse box
page 103.
Identifying a blown fuse
A fuse is blown if its metal strip is ruptured
Fig. 68.
Point a lamp at the fuse to see if it has
blown.
To replace a fuse
Remove the fuse.
Replace the blown fuse by one with an
identical amperage rating (same colour and
markings) and identical size.
Replace the cover again or close the fuse
box lid.
Bulbs
Bulbs (12 V)
Note: Depending on the level of equipment
fitted in the
vehicle, LEDs may be used for
part or all of the interior and/or exterior light-
ing. LEDs have an estimated life that exceeds
that of the vehicle. If an LED light fails, go to
an authorised workshop for its replacement.
