What to do if my Sebo ET-1 Vacuum Cleaner power head does not turn on?
    • B
      Belinda WhiteheadJul 27, 2025
If the power head of your Sebo Vacuum Cleaner isn't turning on, first ensure it's plugged into a working outlet. If you have a model without a foot switch, make sure the on/off switch on the handle of the telescopic tube is in the on position. For models with a foot switch, ensure the on/off switch on the power head is on. Also, check that the machine is not in the upright locked position; release the foot pedal and lower the suction neck to operating level.

Why is the red brush-warning light flashing and brush stops spinning on my Sebo ET-1?
    • E
      Ethan HobbsAug 3, 2025
The red brush-warning light might flash, and the brush may stop spinning on your Sebo Vacuum Cleaner due to a jammed brush roller. You should remove the obstruction. This issue might also occur due to overload shutdown from excessively deep or loose carpet pile. If this is the case, consider using a “shag rake” attachment instead of the ET-1 or ET-2 power head.

Why my Sebo ET-1 does not pick up?
    • L
      lori96Aug 11, 2025
Your Sebo Vacuum Cleaner might not be picking up dirt because of a clog in the airflow pathway or swivel neck. You should remove the clog. Also, check that the telescopic tube of vacuum is properly inserted into the power head.

Why is the red brush-warning light on my Sebo ET-1 on?
    • M
      Matthew MorrisAug 18, 2025
The red brush-warning light on your Sebo Vacuum Cleaner indicates reduced brush action, meaning the brush isn't fully contacting the floor. Lower the height setting. It may also mean that the brush is worn, and you should replace it.
